“Stand out” boldly pokes out of the photo frame. (Notice the sharp focus on the model and the blurred background, reinforcing this meaning.)

On the other page, “…or blend in” melts in the center of the spread, and matches the color of the shirt (and background and skin tones) like a chameleon.
