“Uncertainty is a quality to be cherished, therefore—if not for it, who would dare to undertake anything?” —Villiers de L’Isle-Adam

If you had the chance to start your life over knowing what you know now, would you?

You could fix some things. Prevent some things. Ace a few more things than you already have aced.

But you’d miss out on all of the surprises—the unpleasant ones, and the delightful ones.

And maybe you wouldn’t be as curious to see what happens next in your story.

If hindsight is 20/20, then maybe uncertainty is the squinting that makes the journey a worthy adventure to look back on.
